The main principles of Ayurveda (ancient indian medicine), coherent with notions like Dharma - natural (moral) law and Ahimsa - principle of nonviolance, are presented in this article. Ayurveda takes that disease, according to the tracts of Charaka and Sushrut,is structured by origin, location and by the disrupted balance of the tridosha - Vata (Wind), Pitta (Fire) and Kapha (Water). The most dangerous diseases, coherent with the disbalance of the doshas which together with their properties (gunas) - Sattva, Tamas and Radjas form the horizontal (biological) and vertical (psychological) structure of the individual. The tridosha Vata, Pitta and Kapha are displayed through Prana (the movement - energy),Tejas (the internal radiation - fire ) and Ojas (the original vitality - water). The dosha Vata forms the vital points (nadas) and the coherent chakras.
